About The Groomers

Alaina LeBlanc
Owner/Pet Stylist
I am a professional pet groomer with over 20 years of experience grooming all breeds. My love for dogs and the artistry of grooming inspired me to begin my pet grooming apprenticeship in 2005. In 2011, I opened Pawfections Pet Salon, fulfilling my dream of providing high-quality grooming services in a welcoming and stress-free environment.
I am an active member of the National Association of Professional Creative Groomers (N.A.P.C.G.), demonstrating my commitment to education, innovation, and excellence in the grooming industry. My passion for the craft extends beyond the salon—I actively compete in professional grooming competitions, refining my techniques and staying at the forefront of industry trends. Additionally, I participate in dog shows, where I have gained extensive experience in breed-specific grooming and presentation. My background as a veterinary assistant has equipped me with the skills to recognize potential health concerns during grooming sessions, ensuring that every pet receives not only a stylish trim but also compassionate care. I am also well-versed in holistic pet care, offering natural solutions to support pet health and well-being.
Beyond grooming, my love for animals extends to wildlife rehabilitation. As a state-licensed wildlife rehabilitator, further deepening my understanding of animal behavior and care.
Whether in the grooming salon, in the competition ring, or at a dog show, my goal is always the same—to bring out the best in every dog I work with!

"My passion for animals began at a young age when I was first introduced to Quarter Horses. This led me to the show ring, where I learned to groom and actively compete in horse shows. This passion continued for my love and affection for dogs and this ultimately grew into an intense love for Golden Retrievers. As a breeder, groomer, and handler, to date I have finished 14 AKC Champions and 5 Canadian Champions. My greatest achievement in the ring was winning an AKC- Best in Show with my 1st Champion, “Cedar” and winning an Award of Merit at the 1997 Westminster Dog Show. Currently, I am still actively grooming Golden Retriever Show Dogs and I assist in their show careers.
Initially graduating from The Pennsylvania School of Dog Grooming in 1987, with over 32 years of grooming experience, I still approach each day with a passion for my work. I am so happy to be a part of the talented team here at Pawfections Pet Salon and I look forward to meeting you and making your pup its very best."

Pet Stylist
"After much time searching for my dream job, I decided to combine my love of all things furry with a knack for working with my hands. My name is Hannah. I'm a certified dog groomer from Happy paws unleashed, a professional grooming school. Raised in Maine, I have strong family ties. I enjoy riding horses, hiking, and warm sunny days at the beach. My occupations vary from working as a stern man on my grandfather's lobster boat to forging silver as a metal Smith.
My best friend is a golden retriever named Disco. She is the light of my life ... and well groomed if I don't say so myself! It is my goal to make your dog happy and comfortable during the grooming process. I have a quiet, gentle but firm touch and feel it is important to establish a good relationship between myself and the dogs that I groom. A well-groomed dog is a happy dog. I look forward to meeting with you and getting to know your furry friend."

Pet Stylist
As a certified dog groomer from Paragon School of Grooming, I bring a wealth of knowledge and skill to every grooming session. My journey in the world of canine care began with invaluable mentorship under talented groomers, refining my techniques, and nurturing my passion for the craft.
Before becoming a groomer, I immersed myself in the world of dog daycare and training, where I gained invaluable insights into canine psychology, behavior, and body language. This foundational experience enables me to tailor my approach to each dog’s unique personality and needs. I then met my main buddy through it all, Ozzy, a Dutch Shepherd/Mastiff rescue. His journey from being misunderstood to becoming my loyal sidekick inspires me to advocate for all dogs, especially those in need of a little extra care and understanding.
I take pride in my ability to work with dogs of all temperaments and sizes, ensuring a comfortable and positive grooming experience for each one. Progress takes time, and consistency is key, which is why I approach each session with patience and dedication. Whether it's a classic trim or a unique style, I bring precision and creativity to every grooming session. I am grateful to blend my love for dogs with my artistic side, creating grooming experiences that prioritize the well-being and happiness of each furry client.
Outside of work, you can find me enjoying morning and evening walks on the beaches with Ozzy, hiking and camping in the summer, and skiing in the winter. I also have a passion for live music and enjoy attending concerts whenever I can. Additionally, I am dedicated to continued education and actively pursuing my goal of becoming a competitive groomer. I am grateful to work alongside a talented group of women at Pawfection, and I am thrilled at the opportunity to meet and work with your beloved dogs!
